Charco Azul Beach

Charco Azul Beach

This popular, secluded, unspoilt beach is known for its turquoise blue, which also inspired the name of the island of El Hierro. This Spanish beach is located in the coastal suburb of Los Llanillos, in the municipality of La Frontera. It’s approximately 10 metres long and 6 metres wide, with a low level of visitors.
Highlights: Its main attraction is that it’s located inside a natural cave of volcanic lava. It’s a magical place in one of the most beautiful spots of the Canary Islands. It is highly suitable for diving, due to its numerous caves and diverse marine fauna.
Services available: picnic area, marina, parking, and stairs for easy access.
We recommend this Spanish beach especially for diving lovers, and to enjoy a unique setting.
