Blanca Beach

Blanca Beach

Blanca Beach is near Puerto del Rosario, the capital of the unique island of Fuerteventura. It’s a nice urban beach with fine golden sand, approximately one mile long and 45 metres wide. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate, with a medium level of visitors. It enjoys every kind of infrastructure and services that will ensure an enjoyable stay.
Of all the beaches of the city, locals choose this emblematic beach as their favourite. Going topless is unusual and is not accepted here. The boardwalk is full of restaurants and bars, and nights are long and enjoyable. This nice Spanish beach is open to the Atlantic Ocean, and does not have any barrier, so it’s dangerous for swimming.
Highlights: The wind makes Playa Blanca a paradise for surfers. Kitesurfing, windsurfing, surfing and all forms of wind and wave sports are practiced here, especially in winter.
Services available: Toilets, showers, restaurants, bars, parking, board rental, lifeguard team, hammock rental, bus stop, and cleaning service.
We recommend this Spanish beach for wind and surf lovers.
