Almadrava Beach

Almadrava Beach

One of the Costa Blanca´s best beaches, this cosy semi-urban Spanish beach with both pebbly and golden sand is located to the north of Denia. Notable for its long length and for its suitability for all the family, it’s great for swimming and bathing. Approximately 2,100 metres long and 30 metres wide, it is usually almost empty. The waters are ordinarily calm, and the beach has therefore been awarded with a blue flag.
La Punta de la Almadrava is a point halfway along this long billiard cue of a beach. Either side of La Punta are two inlets of completely transparent waters. The warm southwest wind to which the Spanish give the name Leveche attracts windsurfers to the beach on summer evenings.
Services available: hotels, restaurants, bus, car rental, bins, Cruz Roja (Spanish Red Cross), vigilance, cleaning services, and a marina 9km (5 miles) away from the beach .
We recommend going to this Spanish beach for a great day out with family and children, due to the great variety of services on offer here.
