Xivares Beach

An extensive, semi-urban Spanish beach, it’s made of white sand and is set in an attractive landscape of high touristic interest. The beach is cleaned regularly. It’s located in the province of Asturias, and specifically in Carreño. It’s approximately 800 metres long and 75 metres wide, with a high level of occupancy. The normal state of the sea is moderate waves.
It’s a beach where you can surf. The waves are not very regular, but their breaks are, when they come out, nice and friendly . It has a lifeguard team. If there’s danger, the danger is marked. The nearest hospital in case of injury is the Cabueñes Hospital, 18 kilometres away from the beach. You can access this Spanish beach easily on foot. The paths are marked.
The nearest road is the AS-239. The zone has parking. The parking is observed by a security team. The number of parking places is approximately 50 to 100. The public transport to the beach is a coach.
Services available: Toilets, litter bins, restaurants, Gijón Sport marina (13 kilometres from the beach), parking, and lifeguard team. It has disabled access ramps.
We recommend going to this Spanish beach with family and children to enjoy its wonderful landscape and wild setting, and for surfers.
