Luarca Beach

This lustrous beach is located in the town of Luarca, near the fishing port. It has over 400 metres’ length of fine sand, pebbles, and rocky outcrops. Luarca is typically known as the 1st and 2nd of Luarca (referring to neighbouring 3rd Luarca, or Salinas).
It’s between the mouth of the Black River, which crosses the town of Luarca, and Salinas beach.
You can access this Spanish beach easily by car.
Highlights: Typical things to do on this beach are fishing and sailing. Its occupancy level is high in the summer months when the main reference of the inhabitants and tourists are visiting the town. It has an elongated shape, comprised mainly of golden sand. From the environmental point of view, it’s categorized as a protected landscape.
There are no services available on the beach, but there are some bars and hotels really close to it.
We recommend this beach for fishing and sailing.
